I just spent the past week redoing my entire computer, I transplanted everything from my old case to my Chenbro Gaming Bomb 2.

Everything went smooth until I get to the Sound Blaster. I fixed most of the problems but one. The remote control no longer works. When I go into the settings it says it's working but it's not responding. If I change the sensitivity settings for it to Very High it still does nothing.

Anybody else have this issue and what can I do to resolve it? It's still under warranty so I'm sure I could return it provided I can find my receipts.

i did the same thing once, then i found out that the power cable going to the external 5.25 bay got loose. i reconected it, and everything was fine again.

You mean to the board?

I've got the Platinum Pro so I have the smaller sound card and the external box that sits on the top of my screen.

are you talking about the little infrared remote control for your audigy2? do you have the creative remote control software setup and running? for me my creative also has a 5.25" bay for audio conections, and the infrared reciver and transmitter to the litle remote control. that 5.25 drive bay needs to be powered from a molex connections from your power supply.

Yeah, I'm talking about the remote control to my Audigy 2.

I have the control boix but it's bigger than a 5.25" bay and does not have power via a molex connector. It's got power via a Firewire cable and an Adlink cable. The control box works. But the remote control does not.

Where do I setup the software for it? Is it on one of the disks?

I didn't have this trouble when I first installed it but now that I had the whole machine apart it's acting retarded.

yes the software is on the disc, not part of the audigy drivers though. it's part of control center or something.
