Now this topic is posted in another forum, but before it gets deleted i wanted to tell the admins that the reason i am posting it here is so experienced modders can see it, as it impliments the same technique as what I am doing, but on a larger scale

OK, we just got this RV, 1976 Dodge Minnie Winne, yeah, I know. Anyways as with most campers like its kind, the engine sits between the front seats, and with the cover, is loud as hell. I need to cut down on the sound.

I had some ideas, get some sound absorbtion material and insulate the cover with it.

Now, is there some sort of special sealent I can use between the cover and the material that will work better? Also, the rubber tubing that holds the cover in leaves something to be desired, what can i use in its place or make it better?

And if anyone has any other better ideas let me know, I want to make this thing as quiet inside as possible... thanks
