Nice. So that's 2 8800GTs and a Core i7?

The only thing that makes me sad is seeing a 9600GSO beat the living daylights out of my 4870... :(

well, I know what I'm doing tomorrow. Tonight Im playing with CentOS in a VM so I can hopefully hit the ground running tomorrow

still only 8k over me tho, maybe I should put a VM on my Quad

Congrats Kendrak.

I just added 2 GPUs and a Quad as well. Unfortunately they are all Red Team (AMD :( ). 4850's are not good folders. I'm going to try some Hybrid Red/Green folding on this box this weekend by mixing in a 8800GS. Will post results in another thread. Also I'll finally get around to posting pics of my main rig in the appropriate thread for that.

I wish they'd go ahead and fix the whole ATI folding thing. Their cards are very impressive ever since the 4 series.

If they fix the ATI thing my 5870s are gonna bring the pain.

Yeah, that's why my two 96GSOs went into a Q6600 dedicated folding box, and my 4850 only runs BOINC stuff.

If only WCG did GPU, the Xmas race would be much more interesting... :D

Good stuff :).

So I guess you got your OC stable? Did anything I said in your other thread help you at all?

Nice Kendrack. And I was just starting to gain on you too .... only 12 years 7 months before I was projected to overtake you. :p

Kendrak, which motherboard did you go with on your i7 build?

Picked up a EX58-UD5

Only went that way because it was such a great deal. It is overkill for what I'm running rite now.

I think most of the Gigabyte x58 does quite well with OC-ing, and it has a great upgrade path.

However many people seem to be getting better OC out of their 1156 boards.

Yeah, I'm sticking with X58 though so I can have an upgrade path to the 6-cores. I don't mind paying a little more for a board so long as I have an upgrade path. Lack of upgrades and burnt sockets on the 1156's have me turned off.

I really miss my P6T6 and will probably end up with another one or a P6T7. I still have a couple weeks to decide. My case has 10x PCI slots so I really want to max it out. :D
