So I have a friend that wanted me to put together specs of a computer so they can build it (with my help) and here's what I've got so far:
http://secure.newegg.com/app/WishR.asp?ID=844700
This person is not a gamer, thats why I chose the 9600 SE, so they can do some games, but they don't want to shell out the cash for anything too nice. Up for suggestions on other video cards.
For the soundcard, I wasn't sure if I should get one or just use the onboard from the nforce?
Is the RAM an overkill? They say they will do some video editing and liked the sound of a gig, but I realize the Corsair is more overclocking RAM and I highly doubt they will do any overclocking.
And the hard drive, well they said they don't need much space. I know the advantage of a raptor or hard drives in raid, but I don't know if its worth it for what they want. If you can think of something for less than 150 that is a lot better than they might be interested.
Any other suggestions/comments?
Thanks
