Needing a computer case, I have narrowed it down to 3 or 4.

The soprano case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811133145

Cavalier 1 and 3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811119061 <--- 1 version

Tsunami http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811133132

in the process of upgrading... Purchased so far ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard
AMD 3200+ 64bit Venice
Sapphire X800GTO2
kingston hyperx 2x512
antec neo he 500

I really like my tsunami, just be prepared to get a little creative with your cables if u want it to look nice.

the tsunami is juss about superior to the others in almost everything

the fronts all follow the same design... i had a cavalier, but its thin and over priced for the case you get. i say tsunami

Tsunami. you won't regret it.

It's really a great case, just slap on a different side fan grill and/or cut out the rear and front vents for better cooling, if you wanna mod.

The problem with that Soprano case is if you don't feed it fresh hardware every Friday, it slams the front door on your hand 4 times to remind you.

I personally like the tsunami if you want to pay some extra money, but all 3 are great cases I think.

But a quick question unrelated to the case.... You spend the money on an expensive board, the biggest difference in that board verse other cheaper asus boards is that it supports SLI. But then you spend your money on a video card that will not support SLi.... People that do that, just confuse me. Like a friend that bought the most expensive DFI LP board and then got a x800gt video card.

Funny story, actually I have lost that board, i have no idea where it went. The reason i bought it was it was 70 bucks, which is a good deal.

Anyways I decided to go with the soprano case. But now i am on the look for another mobo

I've seen the soprano first hand, and it really nice and glossy...If thats your sort of thing, then go for it..

I have the Tsunami, and I am happy with it. My main gripe is even though the case is a decent size, I can't help but feel cramped inside. This is mostly due to the location of the removable HD rack.

If you have some extra money, I would go with a TT Armor case.

I would say the Tsunami, but i have a few gripes: the door opens the wrong way, there's a filter on the front fan but not on the side, the hard drives don't mount sideways, and some psu's with 120 or 140 mm fans will not fit exactly right.

Other than those minor issues, it seems to be a good case. Also, 'real modders' will make fun of it because it's not an Antec or Lian Li.

praetorian ftw
QFT, but I think he wants a rounded look. I say wavemaster, but out of those three, the Tsunami wins. The soprano feels cheap (I looked at one in a store - not impressed with the plastic door) and I don't like the look of the cavalier.
