We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

As most of you know, there has been a myriad of banter flying back and forth about which 3rd party security applications will and will not work within Vista. The most recent exchange comes from J. Allchin, who wants to defend Vista’s capability to run any security suite of your choice.

Allchin argued in a blog posting on Tuesday that this is untrue, and that Vista can live happily alongside the right third-party security products. If individuals and organisations use their Vista or third-party security tools correctly, there is no reason for there to be any issues, he said.

Personally, I do not want Microsoft, or Allchin telling me which products are "right" or if I am using my third-party tools "correctly." What an absolute load of crap.

isnt it more along the lines of windows locking down the typical methods in which av tools work (and how spyware and malware and viruses works as well).

thats what I thought, i think these third party companies complain too much and next time shouldn't have based their business model on something as everchanging as OS software. 3rd Party antivirus is really only effective to raise the quality bar for whenever MS includes their own version for free later on.
