Its a 15 inch LCD from an IBM computer, it normally gets its power and the display from the motherboard, now it has odd connectors on it, but im pretty sure its functional, I just want to get it to run off
my computer so I can do a LCD mod and put this in the side-panel.
I don't know where to start... Any idea's?

The cable on the right is for power, and the one on the left is for display.

I know how to solder if need be, also I have VGA cables I could sacrifice.
Any guides anyone know of?

hoo boy...

It's...troublesome.

Check out bit-tech.net's modding forum/search for info.

Basically, in many cases, you'd need a very expensive converter card, which would cost more than the lcd is worth.

Possibly, you could rig something, but finding info on how to do it is very difficult, as the wiring varies substantially, model-to-model (even if same manufacturer).

Um. Good luck, but I wouldn't be too hopeful or optimistic.
