I went to a web site that uses the image below for part of its background, and it flickered like crazy on my new Sony SDM-S74 using DVI from my Sapphire 9600XT card. The HD15 interface doesn't flicker, but it's hooked up to my other computer that has an old MX200 card. I'm wondering if other people see the same thing. An easy way to test this is to temporarily install the .gif file as your desktop background, using the "tile" option. I find the entire screen flickers, and it's worst with the Medium and Low "ECO" modes.

Well, this is interesting. I just reset the monitor to factory defaults, and the flicker disappeared. It turns out it was the monitor's gamma mode setting. Set to "Gamma 1" or "Gamma 3", it flickers like I described. Only on the default "Gamma 2" is it stable.
