Sony P234B Noise problem!

I have a near perfect Sony 23".

It WAS perfect but now when I turn it on it emits a very high pitched warbling noise. The sound is really annoying. When the screen warms up the sound gradually diminishes but you can still hear it easily for about 20mins and after that it goes very faint.

The problem is is that I have absolutely zero faulty pixels and no backlight issues so I don't want to return it.

Does anyone know what the problem might be, anyone have this problem? Will it go away? Will it get worse? Can I fix it?
