Tomorrow is the big day, Sony’s new video sharing network will go live and challenge YouTube. Sony, taking a swipe at YouTube, says it is offering a “protected” environment and “safe place for advertisers” to place ads.

"This is part of Sony's quiet software revolution," CEO Howard Stringer said at a news conference. "It's an opportunity to transmit user-generated video anywhere you want to, anytime to anybody, in a protected environment," Stringer said. "We believe there's a need for a clean and safe place where companies can place their advertisements."

Hopefully it will be something good.

"H4x m3 plz" CEO Howard Stringer said at a news conference.

I don't think these guys give any consideration to how they present anything. Either that, or they are completely out of touch with reality.
