OK I have a Sony Google 40" LED TV and I built a computer with spare parts I had laying around. The computer specs are an 8800gt EVGA video card, Asus mobo and 4gbs of Memory running Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit. Im plugging a HDMI to DVI cable in the second HDMI port.
Now on to the issue. I only get video if I do the following. Leave the DVI cable unplugged let the system boot into windows, plug the dvi back into the 8800 and Voila! Video. if I leave it plugged in the mobo posts, numbers come up on the bottom right and voila! Black screen. While its still on from this boot If I unplug the DVI and plug it back in Still no video. The ONLY way I can get video is if I leave it unplugged, let it boot into windows, then plug it in. I have never seen this issue before. If I could get some assistance that would just be phenomenal.
