Does anyone know why this burner doesn't burn CD's half of the time. It seems to go through the burning process, then when you reinsert the CD to look at the content, the "create a new CD" window pops up, and nothing is on the CD. I have had this problem for awhile, and my guess is the burner. Is there certain software or drivers I need for it, any help would be appreciated, thanks guys.

Make sure your ASPI drivers are up to date, and turn off MS cd burning service.

XP Pro -> Start->run->services.msc. Disable the IMAPI burning service, reboot.
