Sony BDP-BX320 Decent?

Is this BR player/streaming service platform any good, say vs Fire TV or Roku? Seems to have everything you need plus the Bluray player as a bonus.

I have this one. It's not as good as roku;I imagine not as good as fire tv either (never used it yet).

It's fine in a pinch, but clearly underpowered, and the biggest difference is apps for things like smart tv's and smart bluray players is that they're more of an afterthought, and typically slower and more buggy.

If it's anything like mine, it's a Blu-Ray player first and a media player second. Devices like Roku offer much more when it comes to streaming.

I would be hesitant to invest in any of these all-in-one packages. Like others have said, apps and smart services are more of an after thought. For the most part these companies just want to put the features on their label but don't give two shits about real-world usability. A dedicated machine with XBMC is the best media player, IMO.
