After playing the demo, I hope it stays that way. Motorstorm series blows. Thank god we still have GT5 coming.

Just like Fifa the Pacific Rift demo was an old build, the full title looks a hell of a lot better, not that you care. Is brilliant online tho, has the Mario Kart style pipping to the post play system, if you know the shorter routes that is.
I really do wonder why theey stick old builds out as demo's tho, surely does more harm then good?
See, that is where you just assume (you know what happens when you assume). I don't care about new builds, old builds, good graphics, bad graphics. I played the entire first Motorstorm, and didn't care for the gameplay at all. I thought I would try Motorstorm 2 demo to see if they improved it, and the gameplay is the same.
They didn't change the gameplay between the OLD BUILD demo and the final release.

Well I do care actually as I enjoy the game, like many others so glad the gameplay is the same, a case of if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
What I don't understand is how you can play a game thru and not care for the gameplay...would you not be bored rigid? I recently picked up Bioshock, really couldn't get into it so off it went for something else....

Money doesn't grow on trees my friend. If I spend the money to rent a game (close to $10 where I live), it would be like throwing money out the window if I didn't go through the game in it's entirety.
BTW, I never said the game SUCKED. I said I didn't like the game play and hoped MS2 would be better.

Gameplay is the end all be all. Glad we agree. Too bad if it wasn't for the floaty physics, lack of any realism in the braking and landing feedback in the gameplay, it would be a good game. Great grahics, great vehicles, great physical damage and beautiful environments didn't make the game though. It's the mostly the gameplay that let me down.

So I guess that means it will be ok if MS prevents Sony Vaio PC's from installing Windows.
This is not only a low blow by Sony, it will actually hurt them in the long run as a PR nightmare. The consumer will dislike Sony even more than they already do.
Can't compare the two, MS got to where their at today because of Company's using their OS in there PC's, if there wasn't a windows there would be no MS like we know today.
And I like how you avoided commenting on my points about MS and their business tactics because you know, they have never been about the customer. But keep saying it's a LOW blow by Sony, cuz compared to MS, they've just scratched the surface when it comes to snaky business practices.

I disagree. We can compare the two, no problem what so ever. We just did. Sony wouldn't have a Vaio/PC business without Microsoft either. MS has such a huge monopoly right now, they could easily screw up Sony Vaio PC's now just like Sony screwed up Microsoft's hardware. In fact, if I were MS and Sony pulled this bullshit (which is anti-consumer of Sony), I would send out a Windows Update to disable the small amount of Sony Vaio's out there.
I didn't avoid your comment about MS. Why didn't I avoid it? Because I agree with you. MS and their business tactics are low, and they are all about money money money, and not the consumer. Sony is 100% exactly the same way. They have horrible business tactics, and have scratched the surface just as bad as MS has in snaky business practices. Funny how the licensing issue came to a head and popped on release day of the official debut of a competing product that happened to have access to streaming content owned by Sony affiliate, Columbia.
And by licensing, you mean money. And by saying it's about licensing they're saying they want more money.

It's kind of a pain in the ass to cross reference the distributor or production company through IMDb, then go to Netflix and see if they're available to stream or not, but I picked out a few. These are new additions to the ones I already removed, that were available but now aren't.
I added some obvious, and some obscure Sony pictures distributed instant play titles to my queue and they all come up not available. I only went through about five tonight, but you're welcome to pluck 20 or 30 if it would make you feel better.

I can't find a pattern for new or old. Lifeforce, thats some 1985 shit, under the Tristar license, which is Sony owned as well. I'm sure there will be some exceptions due to companies changing hands over the years and all, but it seems fairly obvious.
They just want more money, and this is a perfectly timed way to swing that in their favor. It makes sense financially and from 'business' standpoint, but I still stand behind my previous call-out of "prick waving" on their behalf.
I could care less, what I can't stream I'll order on blu-ray through Netflix. I can't fault them for doing what they're doing from the business side, but as a consumer I can say it's shitty, and obvious.
