Anybody have experience with either of the cameras? I've been in the market for a mid level dslr for the past couple weeks. My price range is roughly $600-1100. So far I've tested and price out the T2i, D90, D3100. I only just discovered the a33 at a local Ritz shop this week and was quite impressed by it. I kinda liked the EVF and definitely liked the hella fast AF. Also, the kit lens did a pretty decent job of macro type shots, which was really cool to see.

Thanks for all your input! :)

I cannot speak for the a33/a55 but I can say that I have two sony dslr's, the A100 and the A700, both of which have served me very well. I think for the money, Sony is a very good alternative to Nikon and Canon.
