Sony 21 stopped working

I have a sony 21' monitor that stopped working. It still powers up, and even shows the green button detecting the computer has been turned on but wont show a picture. I know its the monitor becuase I know have a cheap monitor hooked up and works fine. Just curious if ne1 might have a idea whats wrong with it. I can if you have general idea be able to look up on internet to find fix/howtofix etc. any links ideas are appreciated.
 
mine did the exact same thing, would power up but no picture. Just happened one day for no reason. I called sony and they replaced it twice with refurbs which weren't to my liking and then with a brand new 21 incher, which was fine. I had to pay the shipping cost of one monitor, they paid the return costs for them all and the shipping for the 2 bad ones.
