sony 17" lcd acting wierd

Hey,
My lcd has been acting really strange. Afew days ago it was almost unusable with it not being able to properly display shades of blue, black and gray. I disconnected it to try a CRT for a day then plugged it back in and it worked. Now it is starting to have problems showing some shades of blue. When it has problems, the pixels kind of flicker green.

I am assuming my monitor is going to die. Any ideas if it can be fixed?
