Ok, typical bonehead shit. CPU was attached to the heatsink via thermal interface junk. CPU was stuck to HSF.

My co-oworker decided to try to pry it off. I caught him in time and used floss to remove it.

HOWEVER now I don't know if the processor is damaged or not. The pins I can straighten no prob. The corner however is messed up.

Dont have an AMD board to try this in either atm. :(

CPUs are pretty tough, however I don't think you'll get lucky this time. Only way to really know for sure is to boot it. What kind of CPU is it? An AMD what? I have two AMD boards laying around I could test it, where are you located? If its a cheap CPU, probably not worth shipping it two ways to test it, but if you could get some money for it, you can send it to me, I'll test it and send it back; however you'll have to pay shipping both ways. Depending on where you live, probably wont be much. Again, depends on what CPU it is and if it's worth it or not.
 
I live in Hawaii. I've done this to a P4 in the past and it worked.

IT's a AMD X4 945 3.0ghz

Figures. :(
 
Yeah not worth the shipping.

Best bet is to locate a motherboard and test it out. It might work, they are pretty tough. I've bent them before in the past and they still worked.
