Sooo I come back to school and look at my resevior after being away for 2 weeks. Its damn low. So I check in the case immediately and notice theres water dripping off my waterblock. So after more careful inspection I notice that the Lexan on the waterblock has cracked. I'm not sure how this happened considering the computer has been off for those two weeks and no one was in the room and it was perfect and has been running for 3-4 months with no problems. Has anyone ever had this problem or what? I doubt anyone has and I'm emailing the company I got it from cause I am rather confused. I just had to vent.
 
It has happened before and will happen again... Seemingly random cracking is know to occur in many blocks with plastic tops. Most likely, they are caused by further propagation of micro-cracks (called crazes) that resulted from initial machining of the piece.

By the way, no psuedo-swearing in thread titles, please :D
 
holy shyte.. i had never heard of this before...

considering how many blocks have these 'plastic' tops you'd think it would be more common knowledge....

well that said i'm never goina buy a block like that!
 
It happened to be a crack between each of the in and out ports and down the one side... I took it apart and epoxied the entire thing and put it back together and epoxied alittle more. All is in order.
