Sonata III, Recommendations?

So I built a semi-budget system. Wasn't totally looking to save a lot of money, but did not want to blow the bank. Got lucky with some decent deals.

My main issue is the Sonata III Case.

Case: Sonata III Comes with a 500w EarthWatt PSU
Mobo: Gigabytega-p35-ds3r
Processor: Q6600
VideoCard: XFX 8800GT
RAM: OCZ Gold 2x1gig
OS: WinXP (Temporary; Once I get Vista I'll replace RAM with 2x 2gig sticks)

I am hoping to clock the CPU to 3.0 it is a G0 stepping. I do not plan to OC the Video. I might, but might not tighten the timings on the RAM a little.

I am also trying to decide which heatsink I should get. I'm trying to avoid $50 heatsinks though. (I know that sounds trivial after buying everything else)

My concern is the case and PSU. The case has space for two 120 fans, but one is behind the HD Rack. Also will the PSU be able to handle that system? I'm am not sure if this will be enough cooling for what I am trying to do.

Has anyone had any experience with the Sonata III Case or know of any easy mods that might help increase air flow? I am fairly new to OCing/cooling, but I clearly understand the hardware.

UPDATE-------------------------------------------------

Looking at picking up a Antec P180 and using the 500w Earthwatt PSU. Which has a lot better air flow. Hopefully this will fix my concerns with cooling, also am going to pick up the 4 gigs of ram now rather then the 2gigs.

Thanks for all recommendations. Probably would have fried something if I put it together in the Sonata III, heh.

How do people like their P180s? I'll just have to do some origami work with the wires.

I'm sure that the 500W power supply will be able to handle the parts fine at stock, but overclocked with absurd voltage bumps.. I don't know. However the G0 stepping should be able to do 3.0 on stock volts, I believe.

It is sufficient, but it isn't the best. It depends on the temperatures you are getting really... if your components are overheating then you need better cooling.

You can help airflow with good cable management

Okay, thanks again. Hopefully I will be able to put it together when last few pieces arrive and get some pictures and benchmarks up this weekend before the New Years =)

Honestly, you better get some monster fans.

I have a SonataIII, and when I moved from my E6300 to a Quad X3210, with minor OC, the temps were in the 70*Cs. Idling in the high 40*Cs. I had a nice, solid copper heatpipe HSF (Tt Tower112) on it, and it just doesn't get enough cool air brought inside for the heat of a Quad.

I moved on to a CM690, and my temps, with a GeminII, are better (idle ~40*C, load ~60*C).

I did have fans on medium speeds, but ramping them up only brought a degree or two of extra cooling, at the expense of a lot more noise.

The SonataIII is still a great chassis, just not right for a Quad putting out heat like they do. I'd put just about any Dual-Core CPU in the SonataIII, and that's why I still have it, instead of selling it.
