There is something wrong with my machine, and I can't determine the problem. It started yesterday - suddenly everything started to be very sluggish - opening tabs in browser takes ages and some of the pages don't load properly - especially those with lots of Java and Flash

Launching application and games, even starting the windows take now more time than it used to, and nothing works smooth any more.

I installed my ZxR on Friday, so I'm suspicious about drivers, but it should bork the machine just after installation, not now. The only thing that got installed was Java update.

At first I blamed the delay, becuse windows wanted to wake my HDD up, before launching any program, however after disconnecting it, it works same sluggish. I also run a Samsung MAgician optimisation tool on SSD, cleaned temp, deleted apps that I don't need - also have the 69,5 GB free on my 256GB SSD.

Restored CPU/RAM to normal speed, nothing got better. I think it might be either RAM or SSD or just Windows needs reinstallation.

Any ideas what can be happening?

Try it in Safe Mode and see how it performs. I would start by removing anything that has been installed recently as well as doing an offline virus scan (outside of Windows) and running Malwarebytes in safe mode.

Sounds like you're infected with something. Do a virus/malware scan on it. If nothing turns up within' Windows, then run it outside Windows as mentioned above.

Both Kaspersky and Malwarebytes didn't find anything. Oh well, just logged with iPad to bank/email/MMOs accounts and changing passwords there... then it's system reinstallation for me. And meh, as I can't Ghost it back from a backup, as I don't know what and when I picked, so to be safe, I'll start it from scratch.
