Something to sanitize loop?

I am getting ready to fill my system for the first time.

Most of the components - while sanitized when I first got them - have now been sitting out for months in a room where my shedding dog and cat have been.

I can't remove most of the blocks / tubing anymore. It has taken almost a month to set this WC system up. Yeesh!

What I would like to know is:

  1. Is there anything I can safely fill the loop with (diluted bleach, diluted iodine, etc.) that can sanitize my loop before I fill it with coolant?
  2. Is there anything I can add to the coolant (which is Swiftech HydrX) to keep things sanitary? I know the HydrX has some additives already, but if I can improve things, thant would be great!
