Something other than ATI CCC?

I have read mention of something other than the ATI CCC tool and am curious. I run Windows XP and use the ATI 7.11 drivers for my 3850 but really don't like how CCC starts so many services and causes .Net crashes from time to time. My system is stable, but there is the once a month or so error I get.

What other options are there to CCC? I like the ATI drivers but was wondering about another tool for the other stuff like OCing.
 
RivaTuner, ATITool, ATI Tray Tools, all work well if you don't have a Crossfire setup.
 
Reinstalling .Net 2.0 would probably solve your crashing problems, but if I were you, I would give AtiTool or ATI traytools a shot.

ps. Has anybody gotten their projectors working with tray tools or ATItool? This is the only reason Iam with CCC anymore as its the only program capable of detecting my Panasonic AX100 projector and provide 720p resolution for it.
 
according to SVT ranger on here, you and me must be the only ones with the problem.

reinstally netframework via repair is a decent way to go. I used to do it once every 1-2 weeks. it sure F**** up your registry doing it all the time. what a great program. CCC and framework ftw!
 
As far as I know ATi Tray Tools does not work with 2900/38xx. I know it does not work on my 2900XT. Riva tuner and ATi Tools work fine.
