Hi all,

I'm Moo, and I live in UK.
I come back to my country (lithuania), sell my brand new rig, and... Just found in ground floor my old PC case whitch was good for modding.

Sorry for my english... :(

p1150133.jpg

Ok, things whitch I want to do:
  • Paint it
  • Cut holes for 120mm fans
  • Cut holes for other power buttions/leds etc.

Everything started from this:

Main drinks... :D

And...

Then I take apart:

Cool, keep it up! I love taking butt ugly cases and bringing them into this century, haha. Keep it coming! :D

Agreed. Except I prefer to watch others do it as opposed to putting in the effort myself. I'm lazy though.

is that a socket 370 motherboard with a ISA slot? wow that's a relic.
also been a while since i've seen a PSU with more amps on the 5v (20A) rail compared to the 12v (6A) rail.
interested to see where this is headed.

I'm so mad wright now...:mad: I don't think that is good idea to run this project...

I want put in it someting like 2400k, 2500k, but there's no space for a good heatsink or watercooling...

Any ideas?

You might be able to get one of the Corsair H50, H60, H70, or H100 units in there.

Probably not enough room for an h50, but others probably so.

For air cooling, consider the big shuriken low profile cooler.

You could use a matx motherboard and put a 240 (maybe 360) rad on the bottom.

Trust me, you squeeze a lot into that case if you get creative. :D

nice work so far! can't wait to see more.

and don't be afraid and look around here, people fitted working cooling solutions into equally small space.
even i had to use a smaller scythe heatsink since a tower heatsink with 120mm fan wouldn't fit my old AT case.

If you get a quiet PSU, what about relocation to the front bottom? It looks like you CD drives as well as HDD drive bays are up high enough. If it were me I'd go that route. Cable management might get a bit tricky but with some sleeve or braiding it will look OK.
Just be patient and think about it, like said above, after browsing modded cases and wanting to do it more...you can fit a lot into them.

Hey,

I decide to put something from Hydro series on the "roof"... :D
But, it will fit or no with two fans?
Can I take tubes of the Hydro rad ant put it on the "roof"?

....

Or what size is hydro series rad?

p1150385.jpg

p1150387.jpg

Thank you

Yea, if you're not OCing a lot the H50 should do you fine. IF you plan to OC i see people recomend the H80/H100 but then they will take more space.
The H50 should fit the roof no problem. Do an intake setup and you'll be in OK shape.

I just noticed as well, you could stand to gain a 1/2" maybe by your PSU...? Look like you can move it up(relocate the ledge its on) so it's against the roof more. Unless the new PSU is bigger.

I decide and I will buy a Corsair H80 Hydro.

Yes, but can I take off tubes from rad and fit it on to a "roof"? Because then I dont need to cut big hole for offtake. Then I can cut just two small holes for tubes and thats it.

Yeah, you can cut the tubes, but personally I wouldn't. And honestly I don't see why you need to. I might be missing something. If you cut them you'll have to add a reservoir/T-line to fill the loop back up. But you can mount the H80 to the top of the case w/o cutting the tubes, right?

Maybie someone can measure H80 rad with fans? I need to know, where to fit it. Inside or ouside the case.

Thank you!

He wants to put the tubes through holes on the top then reconnect the rad, not run them outside of the case through a slot. I get you're idea, i just am not familiar with the unit yet.(have an H50 i didn't install yet.)

Oh, so the rad will be mounted on the outside? In that case, just include a cutout for the tubes in the big hole you cut. It will end up looking like a giant keyhole. Then you just drop the pump/block down through the hole and mount the rad. No need to cut the tubes.

Hi,

Today I started too fill no need space with gypsum. That was only one thing whitch I found in my garage.

Greetings to all!!! :)

Nice!

This is amazing. I respect your patience and work.
Sometimes is best to see cheapest case and high end components than expensive case and midle components..

Sorry on my bad English... I am from Serbia.

I home my Antec Tru Power 750W 150 x 150 x 86 will fit there, but ram's are hudge, soooo, I hope that PSU will fit.

Yesterday I started sticking, it was harder than I was thinkin...

Update today. Will be. :D

P.S. I modded this case, because I wanted pretty hight end components. Like 2500k, 8GB 2133/1866 ram, ASUS Sabertooth P67 REV B3 mobo...

You will see, whats will be inside. ;)

Again, sorry for my english.
