Someone know what to do with this switch?

Ok, I bought a cold cathode kit, and there is a black ROUND switch that looks like it goes somewhere say in a case or a box. I am wondering if there is something that this is supposed to go into, so I can easlily switch the light on and off if need be, please let me know and if you guys are not sure what I am talking about, lmk and I will get pics, the thing I really dont want to do is mod my LL Warrior $200 case, so lmk if there is like a 5.25" slot box for this, thanks guys, I know you guys will know

You may need to cut a hole in a front panel, or you may be able to by a special panel. Personally, i thought they came with the panel .But modding may be an option.

I do not want to cut a whole in a $200 Lian Li Warrior case as stated above, I don't have the right tools for the job and dont want to phuck up on the cut or something, so I am looking for an alternative, just figured someone here would know because I know alot of peeps here have the kit

i don't understand why you would buy a $200 case.

but thats just me

what ever floats your boat... i guess

also alot of people just a mod blank drive bay cover.

and if i was you i would go to radio shaq;) and get some pimpin' toggle switches.

ACTUALLY, I DIDNT, WAS BASICALLY GIVEN TO ME

A little funny I think but a guy I know needed cash......

$300 got me that case, EPOX 8RDA+, BARTON 3200+, 1X HYPERX PC4000 512MB, 420WT PSU, MSI GF4 TI4200, 40GB 7200 RPM HD

but I still dont want to mess this case up, it kicks ass, but I do know I need to put this switch somewhere

You could buy a light/fan controller, but that would be somewhat overkill for just one light. I suggest getting a smaller toggle switch and finding a hole somewhere on the back to mount it. Or drill a hole in a slot cover and put the switch there. Or a drive bay cover. There's not really a whole lot you can do if you aren't willing to modify your case a bit.

craziness. I cut a hole into the front panel of my case. It's a Lian-Li LL-61 warrior... very nice case. I was a bit hesitant to drill into it but I'm extremely satisfied with the results. It's used to turn your cold-cathode lights on and off.

yes, yes, i know what the switch is for, lol, i just dont want to have to take the side panel off everytime i wan to turn it off

Many companies sell 5 1/2" bay covers that have switches pre installed. Or you could probably find someone that will do it for you for a small price.

Cut a hole on a PCI slot cover, and use it there. Very common, and its what I intend to do. If the switch isn't that small, get another one at Radio Smack.

I intend to put 2, or 3 on one slot cover to keep it neat!

Cheers,
