My server was down for a few nights, and today I went to turn it on and when it loaded, it passed the Dell screen (dell computer using as a server) and it shows this DOS type screen that says:

Copyright stuff...

"Dell System Dimension 4300
www.dell.com

Diskette drive 0 seek failure"

I removed the floppy disk from it a few weeks ago, and I never had any problems with it on boot...so is this a floppy or harddrive problem? or what?

Thanks.

It's because you removed the floppy drive but didn't tell BIOS that you did, hence it thinks the floppy drive failed.
