Some translateted Casemods

Castle one sucks, but assuming the tank was made completely from scratch, its pretty good.

I think they are both kind of cool. But how is the airflow to them? Do they stay relatively cool?

both of them is very good cooled. That have been a focus because they both where made from wood. But do you guys understand what I'm writing. Thats the most important. If not, i will not use any more time translating all the things I have made.

Most of it I understood. Some of it didn't make sense but I did get teh gist of it so it's all good.I completely understood what you were saying.

Quick Edit on first paragraph:

This casemod is my third project. I don't know where the idea to build a castle came from. But nobody has done it before, so that was reason enough to do it. 80% of the castle is built out of old wineboxes from my old job. The rest is MDF wood. The idea was to use this casemod as a nostalgic MS-DOS computer, for all my great games of old. So I decided to build in two?2? 60watts speakers in each of the front towers, and they are controlled by a panel between the castle moat and the bridge. The round castle tower, has an 80mm Fan inside, which cools down the passively cooled Pentium II 266 mhz CPU. To generate less heat, I underclocked it down to 200 mhz, which is more than necessary to play DOS games. There is also direct cooling to harddisk's and a fan in the back to take out hot air. I have designed this casemod to be user friendly, which means that you don't need any kind of tools to take this computer apart. Behind the castlebrigde, there is easy acces to the CD-rom and Floppy drive.

Feel free to post questions or request explanations on the edits.

edit: this is for http://www.casemodfreak.com/rrc_projekt_3.html
How about Nostalgic Castle Casemod for a title?

>>Nostalgic Castle Casemod<<

Good idea. That will be done.

I'm started to translating all the stof I have made and making a englisg site, but it takes very long time. www.casemodfreak.com
But I will translate the stof a little bit time by time. So all idea's are velcome.

hehe, it's because my site is still under construction. Haven't got the time to make some info about my self.

I think both mods kick butt!! :D

Granted, the caste is a bit on the rough side, but I think you did a great job with the materials on hand. Best of all, you made it work! :)

If you're going to do a castle 2, consider a method to make the drawbridge go up & down automatically at the push of a button. That would be cool, and I think much more enjoyable to you than the velcro trick.

Again, good job!
