1) i installed the GPU client on my desktop, only to have BF2 not run at all when i tried to play it, with the GPU Client minimized? Whats up with that??

2) I then uninstalled the CPU client and installed the CPU client, but im noticing that the CPU client is using 50% of the processor all the time.... i thought the client only went active when nothing was being done the on the PC?
 
1) You need to pause the GPU client whenever you do anything graphics intensive. Right-click on the FAH logo in the system tray.

2) You have a dual-core processor. FAH is single-threaded, so only one core is used. Run two instances (install two copies into different folders). It's not that it "doesn't go active," but it will grab up whatever SPARE clock cycles your processor has. Utilization will always add up to 100% for each core running FAH, but that 100% is the sum of all applications- not just FAH.
 
i did try pausing the GPU, and it still didnt help

the only thing that did was closing the GPU all together...

im using a ATI card if thats any help
 
What is your card, and how much vid-RAM? FAH will only work on ATI cards, but it'll run on anything X1600 and higher.
 
my cards a 1900

it works fine, but it doesnt work if the core is still running, even if paused.
