OK, well I've done lots of reading around, but there are still a couple of things I'm struggling with.
1. I'm in the market for an efficient psu, and ideally I would have liked to purchase the silverstone st50ef-plus, but I can't find it for sale anywhere in the UK. Someone did mention that the akasa greenpower was also based on the same enhance base model(enp-5150gh). Now 500w is slightly overkill for my system so I thought I would go for the 400w model(specs here). The only worry I have is that its specs differ slightly from the enhance enp-5140gh, specifically in terms of max amperage on the 12v rail(s).
Are they really both the same psu? Will there be a difference in quality? Any guidance would be nice since I'm not exactly rolling in cash and would like to find out before I actually buy it.
2. I don't yet have a multimeter for poking around inside my case, but, if I do buy one it would be from here. From those they have listed, could anyone recommend one of the cheaper models that would be sufficiently good(and somewhat accurate)?
Thanks in advance.
