clips are a bit of a pain in the butt but runs way cooler then the freezer 7 pro did

and no noise when the cpu loads up
highly recommend these fans, worth every penny

2.66 @ 3.6 1.2v idles 1-2 deg above room temp, 22.5 Ambient 23-25 idle
prime 95 on all 4 cores @ 100% cores range from 37-41C on real temp
 
yeah but i don't need anymore wires in my case and this thing just barely fits on the mobo with the heatsinks around the cpu, and the rear fan and top fan not so sure id get the extra thickness in there

that and these are pretty much dead silent withouth down volting or wires :)
 
i dunno adjustable is nice but im out of room in this case lol and anything im going to adjust is the same noise level i have now anyways

Nice temps... Getting the same o/c myself with a $20 HS/fan.... temps max 63c prime and realtemp. within specs, so I don't care...

I'd like lower temps, but since everything works, can't see paying for it.
 
right now i have 2 of the fans on the cpu , and a couple of yate loon in the case, when i replace the case fans it will be with these fans, they move more air than the tri cool antec ones at 5v with less noise

Well, if they move more air and are quieter than the ones that move less air, and the only bad thing is that they cost more, that isn't so bad!

I noticed you got the Q9450 and not the X3350 like others have done here. Would you have preferred the X3350 if it had been available, or was it?
