some lightening shots from tonight

here are some semi decent lighting shots that i grab tonight. first time ever trying to get lighting. the shutter was controlled by hand in spray and pray mode.
red dot in last one was the life flight chopper coming int. i was in parking lot of a hospital.

Wow, what camera? Post processing? You must have one hell of a steady hand to be able to do that by hand...

I absolutely love lightening shots but they are so hard to get with my lowly SX20 IS...
 
first 2 were spray and pray mode. last 3 are 10 second exposures.

used my d700 on a tripod. only post processing i did was just adjusted the exposure.(shot in raw)

still learning how to do lightening shots. As anyone who has tried lighting is very unpredictable and hard to photograph.
