Just wanted to post this to all the peeps waiting like me for GW full release this week. I run the Club OC guild from Club Overclocker and thought I'd share some info that we've been using to help us out in PvE quest mode. Since we have a limited membership right now, we haven't even gotten into GvG or ranking up yet...mainly just PvE and a few PvP bouts with a couple of members. There are a couple of really great fansites out there that are very useful. Out of all of them that I've surfed, these seem to be the most informative and have the most features:
The Guild Hall (my personal fav. there are zoomable world maps here that fully rerveal all the cities and towns for the whole world. During gameplay, you can minimize GW in the upper rh corner, open the map page in a browser and get your bearings...kindo like a GW GPS! Sweeeet.) They also have a bunch of info on character builds, armor crafting, guides, list of emotes, etc.
Photics There is a great monthly magazine here as well as guides and team build info
Knights Templar Nother greast site with lots of info, forums, build guides, etc.
Hope this info helps. Definately a couple of good resources for studying up on the game. There is a full list of fansites on the main GW site.
Glad to hear you guys are forming a guild over here. I'd suggest we duke it out sometime, but from the looks of it there will be about ten times as many members here, so it doesn't look likely, as the battles are usually paired up by numbers then guild ranking. Anyways, maybe we'll meet on the field! For OC AND HONOR!
