I got my setup done and working great, now is time to OC it. I am trying to get some specs from you guys on what you got yours up to. anotherwards give me some actual numbers

Voltage
multipliers
dram voltages,
timings,

etc.
 
My d0 was stable up to 3.4 with nothing else changed. Right now I'm sitting at 3.6 (180 x 20) with 1.375 voltage, haven't tried going higher than that yet. Both of those are with turbo mode on.

On a related note, what is everyone doing with their QPI and turbo? I've read a couple articles but it seems there are varying opinions out there on what to do with them.
 
4.0 Ghz, 1.3v 200x20 no turbo mode.

turbo mode is just to give it a little boost past where it normally is eh? Hmm...I don't think 4Ghz is holding anything back anyways so...eh...

Exactly the same as ^^^

19x200 also worked well with turbo mode enabled. 20x200 with turbo mode kept jumping up to 4.2 and the Intel Desktop Control was showing 4.4Ghz for some odd reason.

edit: I figured out that the DX58SO can allow the 920 muti to jump to 22x on single threaded apps so that explains that...

anyone with a 920 at 3.6 w/o turbo mode.. what are your specific settings in the bios.. mine won't boot at 3.6, but with the exact same settings at 3.56 w/ turbo mode enable (3.4 in bios) everything is rock solid.. I can't figure out what I am missing.. but I have a feeling it is my ram settings. thanks

See this is a relevant screenshot. All superpi shows is that your system can be stable for 8-10 seconds. That doesn't prove anything.
 
Running i7 d0 @ 200x20 with turbo and hyperthreading on.
Slowly tweaking down the voltage, so far i'm down to 1.325v in bios.

This chip seems to like 4.2ghz, anything more than that and no amount of voltage will get it stable. I was able to hit 4.5ghz with turbo on, but it wasn't as stable as i'd like.

I agree, I have my doubts about that C0 hitting 4.2 on 1.375 ;) I can boot into windows plenty of higher frequencies. Only matters if it's stable though. Not works "most of the time" that's not a true OC IMHO

The last C0 was the best i ever had. Had other ones prior and they sucked. I couldn't even get one of them above 3.8Ghz. The late late batch C0's seem to be the best for OCing. That one did 4.2Ghz daily for a few months before i sold it.

This one was a bitch. Wouldn't do 4Ghz but she ran VERY cool

Seems like my chip. I posted that 4ghz prime but it keeps crapping out after 6 hours, even at 1.41volts. I thought it might be my OC but I've tried everything, IOH/ICH voltage boosts boosting the QPI voltage. It just won't do it like you said.. Might try without HT but that almost seems like "cheating"

Back to 3.8ghz at 1.3, like you said VERY cool. Keeps under 70 on air. I won't go out and get a new stepping just for an OC..but that'll teach me for buying at release. Just can't help being an early adopter ;)
