ok, this is the first time i have attempted to take out a agp vcard. i was just curious. do u just pop it out like a regular pci card? just unscrew the screw and pull it out right? btw the only way u can hear a beepin noise is if the vcard is improperly placed in or power is not plugged in correct? i got a nf2 mobo...i just installed some ram now i get beeping from my vcard.
 
Unscrew it, and there should be a APG clip near the back end of the APG slot, should look like a small plastic clip. Just push that down, and the back end of the APG card should come out, and then you can just pull it out from there.

To place it back in, just place in the APG slot and press gently down on the APG Card, you should hear a click when the APG clip locks back into place.

Usually if you hear a beep from your motherboard, your APG card is not seated right
 
I've come across 2 sorts of retaining mechanisms for AGP:

1. A small white button that locked the card into place. I had to press it back through the whole with a small screw driver.
2. A sliding tab that moved over a lip on the AGP connector. This moved easily enough by hand.

I'm sure there're more ways of holding the card on different mobos, but none of them needs a doctorate in computer science to figure out.
