ok so i have no problem of joining games and playing games
but wenever people on my team start using the Mic or Team Chat on the microphone..i get a huge lag my ping goes from a 30 to a 600 everytime people start talking does any body here know what is the problem here?

ps i have the lan party nf3 ut mobo
and im currently using windows xp home edition
 
well for one pub rates arent going to get you anywhere

cl_cmdrate 101
cl_updaterate 101
rate 25000

if that still doesnt work just disable voice
