Some help overclocking - Questions about voltage

Hey guys,

I'm trying to overclock my system, since I'm pretty sure I have some major room to get some more power (25c at idle, low 30c's load) with koolance water cooling.

I used to be able to use the OC settings in the bios (ASUS p4c800 deluxe with P4c 3.0ghz) to do 5% and 10% increases, but after bios updates that doesn't run stable anymore. I've tried maunually changing the settings to achieve a higher clock speed, but I can't seem to get anything stable.

I'm pretty sure I'm not setting the voltage correctly. Can anyone with a similar setup help me out? What voltage settings etc, should I have at different speeds? I'm just really worried about hurting something.

Thanks for any help!

why did you update the bios in the first place? if your having so many problems with the new bios update have you thought about going back a pervious version?

I always try to keep the latest updates for drivers / bios. Would it be wise to downgrade my bios version?

Really my major problem is just setting the voltage / clock settings on my own. Before I was just doing the different settings for 5% oc, 10% oc and etc. Those stopped being stable with the new bios.

I would like to set all the settings manually but aren't sure exactly what to set, just worried about damaging something. Any help would be awesome :D
