My system blew up due to a bad power supply.. So while I'm gameless at the moment the time has drawn near to do some goodness. Built a new system! WoOT!
I'm looking to use a Pd to power my new gaming machine, but I've heard from friends and a comment on firesquad that Pd are terrible for gaming. So I guess my 1st question would be. Is building a new system worth building using a Pd setup compared to AMD?
Granted it maybe marginal and if so the dual cores for Pd would seem much more viable due to some cheaper pricing and higher clock speeds. And make up your own theorical system up for specs, with this video card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130238 (if you have suggestions they are welcome.
2nd if a Pd is worth the effort which would someone suggest? I saw these that seem worth to buy.
