[SOLVED] Broken DDI2_TXP[0] pin

Hello, everyone!
I've bought 2nd hand PC with FCLGA1151 socket (compatible with i5 6500T CPU) and found that one of pins is broken. It is DDI2_TXP[0] pin in accordance with intel documentation for 6th gen CPU. What does the absence of this pin mean? Is there a problem with the image on one of the video outputs or is there a problem with all the video outputs on the motherboard? If I don't need to connect a monitor to a computer, can I use such a computer? Is it safe?
To be more precise, not the entire leg is broken off, but only its tip. Should I tear off the pin completely so that there is no contact between socket and CPU?

Based on the name, sounds like this is a transmitter pin for the second digital display interface on the CPU.

Probably will make one of the display outputs on the motherboard unusable, but otherwise fine. Some motherboards don't use all the outputs, but if it only has one output, they might have used DDI2 for reasons and then it would have no working output. But if you're planning on using a discrete card anyway, no big deal.

If the pin isn't going to get jammed into any other pins, I wouldn't touch it. Too easy to mess up neighbors when you're in there. But I have fine motor skills of most 6 year olds, so I try to avoid dexterity checks.

the pc is the mini pc. It has 2 DP port and one more port for *owner* choice. I tried load my pc and it has picture on one of dp port. Sounds good =)

If the pin isn't going to get jammed into any other pins, I wouldn't touch it.
Could you look at the attached image and tell if it touch the neighbors or not?
 
First thing I would do would to remove this piece of debris, which may be the tip of the broken connector and then test.

I've not found datasheet for MB. But it is hp "scorpius mb rev a 16515-1".

I've done it before assemble pc. I took photo after I first time saw this pin. PC booted fine. I was afraid to do anything else with it.

Yeah, every pin with DDI2 is going to be connected to the same display output. There will be other pins for DDI1 and DDI0 or DDI3 depending on how intel decided to count.

Yeah, that's what I'd do. If both of the DP outputs work, it might be the user choice output that's broken. If you have a user choice output installed and it works too, you might have enough contact that it works anyway. High frequency signals can sometimes work with no physical contact too --- it might not be super reliable over time, but in that case, you'll only know which port is broken if one is being flakey.

You might ask HP which port is connected to DDI2, but it may be difficult to get in touch with a person who actually knows; big corporate customer service often doesn't have 'unnecessary' tech information and may not be able to escalate to someone who does.
