before when you used mozilla firefox the "back" thumb button on the mx1000 would not work correctly. There was also several other issues.the mouse functions just as potent without them.. Solution? Dont install the drivers, the only problem is monitoring the battery power from within windows ( never used it anyway)

Yeah i was just about to ask about this .. but i thought i would search first does anybody know anything new why the backward and forward button don't work in firefox ?
The best solution I found was set the two buttons to "Generic Button" and they will function like any other forward/back mouse buttons. Also, this setting will allow you to properly map those mouse buttons in games (as long has the game supports the mapping of additional mouse buttons).
