I'm not sure how many have been following the thread over at the widescreengamingforum, but Dave from ATI posted a BIOS for 5870 cards that increases the displayport signal strength. This new BIOS has completely solved blinking issues I've had with my Apple DP DVI adapter. All three displays now run rock solid.

If you're not comfortable with DOS prompts and BIOS flashing, don't do it.
