Alright i got a Soltek SL-K8AN2-GR with 1-80Gig on SATA1 1-250Gig on SATA2 and 2-250 Gig(same brand same model) on Sata 3 and 4

Right now only the first 2 hdd's show up. HOw do i go about fixing this? all my drivers are up to date and i checked the bios and everything so im not sure what to do next. Running Win xp and all that yata yata help

NEone? for somereason the search don't work for me so...i can't really look

I may be wrong, but i think ports 1 and 2 are on nVidias controller, and ports 3 and 4 are on a Promise controller. Check your manual.

If I'm right, you'll need to load both sets of drivers just to see the hard drives.

well either way all drivers are installed, but the other 2 won't show up at all

We have reinstalled windows, used F6 installed everything, but i get nothing! The thing is enabled on the board with the jumpers, so what next?

Look in the BIOS, probably Integrated Peripherals, to see if the Promise controller is enabled. How many of your drives who up when you turn on the computer? Do you see all four, or just two?

just 2

You will need to grab your mobo manual and find out how to enable the other SATA controller in your BIOS.
