Soltek K8AV2-RL and Radeons?

Hi all,

I recently bought a Soltek K8AV2-RL, AMD64 3200+ and a Sapphire 9600XT. The 9600XT does not seem to want to get along with the Soltek mobo. When I enable 32bit colour quality, blue dots forming lines appear all down the desktop. This does not occur with 16bit colour quality, but there is artifacting (black lines instead of blue)in DVD playback whether 16 or 32bit colour. There is also considerable artifacting when running 3dmark2001.

I have tried a 9200SE with the Soltek mobo, and the same thing happens. I tried the 9600XT in a P4 (865pe) and it worked perfectly, so I don't think the 9600XT is faulty.

I have tried multiple Catalyst drivers, updated to the lastest VIA 4in1s and flashed the bios to latest version. I am using Windows XP SP1 and have an Antec TruePower 430w PSU and using Corsair PC3200 Value Select CAS2.5. So, I was just wondering if there were any known compatability issues with the K8T800 and Radeon cards, or the K8AV2-RL and Radeon cards? Or perhaps the motherboard or RAM might be defective? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, because I'm kind of lost

Cheers,

Xenq
