does the lantronix require java be installed on the connecting client?

[DouglasteR]

This is the kind of device that makes me question my judgement.

I don't really need it, but i NEED IT for reasons i can't enumerate.

[SamirD]

Do you also have the serial cable for configuring the lantronix?

[cdoublejj]

would any serial cable do?

[SamirD]

would any serial cable do?

It's actually a special one that's included according to the owner's manual.
