Software to organize photo's?

I'm looking for software to automatically organize my photo's on my harddrive by date since they are scattered all over the place. Any experience with this? Thanx

Picasa.

Picasa is the best for free and simpler users.

Adobe Lightroom is the next best IMO, but more complicated and ~$200

Picasa for free. Lightroom is 300 bucks, so unless you are major serious about getting into photography, then stick with Picasa.

There's also Bibble, which is significantly cheaper than Lightroom and has more advanced features than Picasa.

I use lightroom. Adobe bridge is another choice.

Adobe Bridge is only available as a part of the Creative Suite, if I recall correctly, and that'll set you back something like $500-1000. Significantly more expensive than pretty much all of the alternatives, and it does a worse job at keeping things organized (because that's not really what it's designed for).
