Software to encrypt a Thumbdrive

Does anybody know of any software to encrypt a thumbdrive. I know they sell ones but I all ready have a 512MB drive that I would love to encrypt.

I guessing the only way to do it would be to split the drive in to two and have the encryption program on the normal partion.
