Hey guys,

this should be a real simple answer.. what is the name of the software that allows you to split a monitor display into 'virtual' displays so you can maximise to that part of the screen? I know it exists because I remember reading about it on the forums here, but rather than blindly search without knowing the right keywords, I figured it'd be easier to ask a quick q and get a quick answer... thanks! :)

I don't know, but would like to know. It would be great if you could activate and deactivate it on the fly.

OK, one last try.. There must be someone who knows of this software. It was mentioned numerous times in the past. No?

You may be thinking of Maxivista, which has a free demo version, but it is time limited. I looked into virtual display managers a few months ago, and I do not remember any of them having the ability to do split screen aka PBP (pic by pic).

Try searching on "Virtual Desktop".

Best of luck

Dave
