I'm bored...I want to overclock my Dell 2400 P4 machine. Its based on the 845G chipset. Any ideas?
 
dont buy a dell. doesnt overclock, locked something or another, dunno, just from what ive read you can overclock a dell

you CAN overclock a dell, possible...

just get something like softFSB (google) or something like that, and try changing the FSB via windows (read the instructions, it is a very complicated process)

Well he already has a Dell. The problem with most commercially produced PCs is that they have BIOS's that the companies cripple to avoid people changing stuff around and frying hardware. The overclocking software goes around this problem, eliminating the BIOS from the problem.
