software for making an iso image

i need some freeware to kmake an .iso file i dont want all the weird formats like clone cd makes i have nero is it possible in there if not i need something that can just rip the disc to an iso file

in nero, change your device to "image recorder". then create your cd, and 'burn' it. you can then select where to save it and filetype (iso, bin/cue etc..)
