Software for creating Virtual COM Ports

Hi !
I’m putting together a small home lab and need software that can create virtual COM ports on my PC. I have a couple of programs that I want to connect through these virtual ports for testing and development without having all the physical hardware.
Has anyone used software that works well in setups like this?
