softmod 9500np vs 5900nu

i have both of these cards and a 2.8c sustem and a 2500+ barton system was wondering which does better with wich platform trying to decide what card to put where and info is helpful thanks in advance

Does the 5900NU make it to 5950 speeds?

not sure what are 5950 speeds its a bfg 5900nu its currently running at stock not sure of the best prog to clock a nvidia card this is my first one

Go get powerstrip or coolbits and overclock it.

If you can get all 8 pipes turned on without atrifacts and get it to OC descent that should be faster then the 5900nu.

i'd go with the 5900nu and flash it to 5950 over the 9500np even if it softmodded to 9700np

The 5900 should smoke that 9500np card, unless he is VERY lucky in having one of those moddable ones. If it is a normal 9500np, than the 5900 is going to beat it in all ways possible.

i got a softmoddable 9500np but it didn't soft mod good so im just running at 410/305 and got like 14.2k 3d 2k1 marks.
